Today was a perfect day for hot chocolate. Warm and sweet and thick, like something that would carry away Augustus Gloop. Something to dip hot buttered rectangles of toast into. So I went online and found a recipe for the thick-as-pudding hot chocolate they serve in Spain and we had a delicious after-school treat.

That looks positively deliciously sinful! Where did you find the recipe?
And I love the Augustus Gloop reference. My kids have been watching (and singing) “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” a lot lately.
I typed in “Spanish hot chocolate” I think. I remember it had melted chocolate bars, cornstarch and milk.
